Ben Patterson founded and operates DashGo, a next-generation record label serving independent artists, managers and labels via online distribution and marketing services. Since 2004, Audio Bee (now DashGo) has focused on creating new revenue streams and promotional opportunities for artists, and securing deals with Apple, YouTube, Emusic, Yahoo! and all major DSPs. Audio Bee artists have been prominently featured in Rolling Stone, Yahoo! Music, AOL Music and YouTube.
As Executive Vice President of GMG Entertainment, Patterson led a digital entertainment consultancy team for Target, collaborating with senior executives to develop and implement digital entertainment strategies and working with clients including Sony, Ford, and Cingular on entertainment marketing and online promotion programs.
With a background of over eight years in digital music, Patterson previously served as the VP of Digital Music and Strategic Development at The Firm, one of the world's largest management companies, where he guided digital business and marketing for clients including Linkin Park, Dixie Chicks, Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg, and brands including Pony and Virgin Cola.
